IMPORTANT NOTICE THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF BERGEN COUNTY

The Housing Authority of Bergen County is pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday August 18th, 2020 at 9:00 am pre-applications will be available for Franklin Heights Apartments located at 187 Franklin Street, Northvale, New Jersey. Franklin Heights Apartments consists of (4) studio and (6) one-bedroom apartments.

In order to be eligible to apply, at least one household member/applicant must be 62 years of age or older. The total household annual gross income cannot exceed the following income limits;

Pre-applications will be available online only at www.habcnjwaitinglists.org The first 50 completed and eligible pre-applications received electronically will be accepted. Pre-applications received after the first 50 will be declined. The waiting list will close after the receipt of 50 completed, eligible pre-applications and will remain closed.  

For those who need assistance obtaining access to or completing a pre-application the Housing Authority will make staff available at our Franklin Villa Community Room located at 188 Franklin Street, Northvale, NJ 07647. Staff will be made available to assist with the completion of pre-applications beginning Tuesday August 18^th from 9:00 am until 3:30 PM, as needed until 50 pre-applications are received and deemed eligible. Please do not arrive to Franklin Villa Apartments before 8:30 am.

You are encouraged to complete your pre-application as soon as possible, as it will be placed on the waiting list based on the date and time that it was received.

Applicants who live, work, train, or attend school in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Sussex counties will be given preference.
